Totally get that spoiler panic. Our group chat made a separate channel just for that one show, worked like a charm. Just had to throw up a gentle heads-up in the main one.

Last season our main chat was a total minefield too (thanks for the tip, @the_dylan, that separate channel idea is gold). People would just casually drop huge plot points next to a meme about lunch. Had to mute the whole thing for a solid week until I caught up, which felt so extreme. Creating a dedicated space just for the show chat is the only sane way to go. It's a bit of work to set up, but saves so many feelings and spoiled twists.
