Ignores my drafts but shares my B-sides, the algorithm is weird

I spent last week polishing this long post about my process, checked the analytics after 24 hours, and it got 40 views. Then I threw up a rushed 3 sentence tip about posting times on a whim this morning and it's already past 2,000. Has anyone else noticed the algorithm just randomly picks a winner and runs with it, or is my audience taste just backwards?

Ha, that tracks perfectly with my feed too! Maybe the algorithm just vibes with whatever catches a wider net, even if the content is thinner.
