That tip about scanning clearance items manually because they don't always ring up on sale has already saved me $11 at Kroger this week, anyone else tried asking the cashier to check the tag again before you pay?

Wait, $11 in one week just from that? That seems like a lot for clearance stuff. I hit the clearance rack at my Kroger all the time and half the tags are already marked down at the shelf, so I barely ever catch a wrong price. Maybe my store is just better about updating them.
