Wasted $120 on a brush that claimed to cut drying time in half
I saw this special blow-dry brush advertised to barbers, said it would shave 15 minutes off each client. Used it for three weeks and it was just a regular brush with some fancy holes. Finally went back to my old cheap Denman and got the same results. Any other barbers fall for this kind of overpriced hype?

It’s the same trick with kitchen gadgets. I bought this fancy air fryer that was supposed to cook things in half the time, but really it just burned the outside and left the middle raw. Or those knives that claim to stay sharp forever - they dull after a month like any other blade. Companies know we all want that shortcut, so they slap a high price on something with a few holes or a weird shape and call it revolutionary. At some point, you just learn to spot the gimmick and stick with what works.

The real trick is these companies count on you tossing the manual, so they can blame your technique instead of their junk design. It's like they built failure into the product and then act surprised when it doesn't work.
