Rant: That one client who insisted I use his own clippers still bothers me

Guy walked into my chair in Austin last March with a beat up Wahl clipper from 2005 and demanded I use it for his fade, then blamed me when the blade pulled his hair - has anyone else had a customer bring in their own tools and then get mad at the results?

Correct me if im wrong but those old Wahl clippers from 2005 actually dont have adjustable blades unless they were modified. So if he brought that in and you were trying to adjust the blade for a fade it would just pull instead of cutting clean. Sounds like he didnt know what he had and blamed you for his junk equipment.

Huh, actually, 2005 Walhl clippers did have adjustable blades, just not great ones.
