Pro tip: Check your mirror's reflection before you trust it for blending
I was finishing a high skin fade on a regular last week, and he politely asked if I was left-handed because my blending looked perfect on one side but choppy on the other. Turns out, my main wall mirror was slightly warped, making the back of the head look fine when it wasn't. Has anyone else had a tool or setup trick them like that?

Man, mirrors are the ultimate betrayers. Found that out the hard way when I thought I had a perfect fade on a buddy and he turned around and it looked like a topographic map. Now I always hit the "mirror check" after each pass and still somehow miss chunks. My barber chair even has a little tilt to it I swear is invisible until a client points it out.

Oh man, mirrors are sneaky like that... I had a similar thing with my old hand mirror, the glass was loose and gave a weird fishbowl effect. Now I always double-check with a second, smaller mirror in my other hand to compare angles. It's a pain but it catches those hidden flaws.
