Just realized my oven runs 25 degrees hot after talking to my neighbor
I was complaining about my cookies always burning on the bottom, and my neighbor Gina asked if I ever checked the actual temp with a thermometer. I bought a cheap oven thermometer from the grocery store for $8, and sure enough, it read 375 when my dial said 350. I've been baking everything too hot for months. Has anyone else found a big difference with their oven's real temperature?
