Just realized 20 year old flour can still be completely fine for bread making

Oh man, are we really acting like 20 year old flour is this amazing discovery? Flour is literally just ground up grain, it's not exactly a miracle it's still edible if stored right. Isn't that more on the person who let it sit for two decades than on the flour itself being special?

Twenty year old flour? That's, like, older than my little brother, oh my god!

Oh wow, that's wild! I found a bag of flour in my grandma's pantry from 1998 once, and it was still good... made some pretty solid biscuits with it, honestly. It was a bit lumpy but a good sift fixed that right up. There's something kinda cool about using old staples like that, as long as it doesn't smell funky or have bugs in it.
