That one guy on r/gamedev told me to cut my menu options from 12 to 5, and three weeks later my wishlist conversions doubled.
I argued with him for an hour before trying it, and now I cant believe how much faster people click through to the store page, anyone else find less choices actually sells more?

Well, had a similar thing happen to me with a checkout page I was working on last year. I was convinced people needed all those payment options and shipping choices, but cutting them down made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming. It's funny how we think more options are better for the customer when really it just makes them stop and think too hard. Glad you saw the results in the end, that must feel pretty satisfying after all that arguing.

Oh man, that reminds me of when I tried to organize my pantry by color and then couldn't find anything for a week. Do we just overthink everything until it breaks?
