Guy at the thrift store quoted the same bad movie at me and I still think about it
Last month I was digging through a bin of old VHS tapes at a Goodwill in Dayton and this older dude next to me held up a copy of Mega Python vs Gatoroid and just said, real quiet, "that one changes a man." I laughed but then he started naming specific scenes like the snake eating the helicopter and how the acting made it feel like a high school play on a budget. We ended up standing there for 20 minutes trading our favorite awful monster movie moments. I bought the tape for 2 bucks and watched it that night with my roommate, and honestly he was right, it hits different when you know someone else gets it. Has anyone else had a random stranger validate their bad movie hobby out of nowhere? Where did it happen for you?
