Found out The Room's famous spoon picture was just a weird framed photo of a spoon, not a clue about anything
Watched The Room with my usual group last Friday and someone pulled up the trivia on their phone after. Turns out the framed spoon in the living room is literally just a photo of a spoon, no deeper meaning, which somehow made the movie even funnier to us. Has anyone else had a bad movie detail ruined or improved by looking up the trivia right after?

Wait, hold on, that part isn't quite right. The spoon photo thing is real, but it's not some random framed spoon, it shows up in the movie because Tommy Wiseau put a bunch of framed pictures of random objects around the set, including spoons, and the cast and crew had no clue why. The famous story is that people assumed the spoon was some kind of inside joke or hidden meaning, and it never was, it was just Tommy being Tommy. So your trivia is sort of right but the framing is off, it's not one weird photo, it's a whole pattern of weird object photos. Honestly that makes it funnier to me, like he just really liked spoons and decided the apartment needed art of them.
