Just realized how much coop care has shifted
Back then, we just threw out some grain. Now folks talk about balanced feed and supplements. My birds look healthier these days.

I get what you're saying, but sometimes it feels like we're overthinking it. My granddad's chickens did just fine on scraps and cracked corn, lived for years. Not sure all the fancy pellets and powders are really making that big of a difference for the average backyard flock.

Totally get where @thomaslewis is coming from! Feels like we overcomplicate so many basic things now. I've been noticing that trend with everything from food to gardening lately.
