Hit 50 eggs from my first three hens yesterday and realized I've been eating way too many omelets
Started tracking in April and the tally just hit 50, which means each bird laid about 17 eggs so far, wild. Anyone else's breakfast menu totally taken over by their flock?

Man, it's funny how quick you go from "oh cool, fresh eggs" to "what else can I possibly make with a dozen eggs today" really fast. I started throwing them into everything, even stuff that doesn't make sense, like scrambled eggs on pizza (it's actually good, don't judge).

Three weeks into my egg phase and I was putting hard boiled eggs in my ramen noodles like some kind of gourmet chef. It was depressing and amazing at the same time. Then I started doing fried rice with an egg on top for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My roommate asked if I was okay. I told him I was thriving. The scrambled eggs on pizza thing is real though, I tried it with leftover breakfast pizza and it just worked. I think the real test is when you start meal planning around how many eggs you have left instead of what you actually want to eat.
