Can we talk about the hen that quit laying after I moved the coop 20 feet?
Moved my 6 hens from the side yard to the back fence in April and my best layer, a barred rock named Nugget, stopped cold for 19 days, so I put her old nest box back in the same spot and she started up again 3 days later. Anyone else have birds that hold a grudge over coop changes, and how long did it take yours to settle back in?

The "hold a grudge over coop changes" part made me laugh because my barred rock did the exact same thing, just sat there glaring at me like I'd personally wronged her. Honestly chickens are way more set in their ways than people give them credit for, and mine took about two weeks to get back to normal. Tbh the old nest box trick worked for me too, so you're not crazy.
