Pro tip: That 'quick' water filter fix on the Appalachian Trail cost me 4 hours
I was hiking the Whites in New Hampshire last fall and my Sawyer filter clogged up on day two. Tried backflushing it like everyone says but it took three tries and a full hour to get it flowing again. Why do people act like this is a 5 minute fix when it's clearly not?
