The Tuesday I knocked out 11 squawks before lunch and felt like a hero
Last Tuesday was one of those days where everything just clicked. We had 11 open squawks on a King Air 350 and I cleared every single one before noon, which never happens. The trick was that I pre read the maintenance manual the night before and wrote out the pin numbers for the pitot static test on a sticky note. Two of the squawks were the same loose cannon plug behind the MFD, so that alone took 40 minutes off the clock. The lead said he had never seen that board go green that fast. Then Wednesday hit and I spent 5 hours chasing a fuel quantity fault that turned out to be a chafed wire the schematics did not show. Anybody else get those days where one win gets wiped out by one gremlin the next morning?
