Appreciation post: the $85 heat gun from Harbor Freight that saved my connector work
My soldering iron kept cooking the pins on those tiny cannon plug connectors until a guy at the Tulsa hangar showed me a cheap heat gun with a reducer nozzle gets the shrink tube tight without nuking the wire, so now I want to know what cheap tool actually earned its spot in your box.
