Warning: My home shop bench build made me see that open pegboard destroys closed cabinets for tool access.

All the big shops swear by enclosed storage, but I can GRAB any socket in seconds off my wall and that SPEED matters way more than looks.

Last Thursday's concrete pour at the Larson job site was chaos, tools scattered everywhere in the mud. But my crew found the magnesium float in under a minute because we all know my system (which looks like total junk to anyone else). Sometimes the mess is just a map only you can read, you know? So a messy pegboard for a 10mm sounds about right for getting the job done fast. I'd take speed over pretty any day, especially before the mix starts to set up.
