Cheap torque wrench failed me on a Hyundai in Spokane, now I trust the beam style
My $40 click wrench from the parts store clicked way too early on a caliper bolt, stripped it clean in 10 minutes... switched back to my old beam wrench and torqued it perfect first try. Anyone else seen the cheap click types drift that badly out of the box?

Man, that's exactly why I never fully trust the cheap clickers anymore, they're fine for basic stuff but the beam never lies once you know how to read it. The factory calibration on those budget wrenches is basically a dice roll, and you just proved it.
