Can we talk about how we used to handle aluminum panel repair?

Back in 2015, we treated it like regular steel, using the same grinders and fillers. Now, after a bad reaction on a Ford F-150 hood, we have a dedicated set of tools just for aluminum to avoid contamination. The shop invested in a separate sanding block and a specific adhesive for the job. What other steps do you guys take to keep your aluminum work clean?

Did you guys ever try using a different color for each size too?

We even color-code our tools now, blue for aluminum only, after a similar lesson.
