Swapped my sled's carbides from studs to a dual runner, night and day on hardpack

Ran studded carbides for 3 seasons in the UP and thought the darting was just normal, but after putting on a dual runner setup last month my steering is dead straight at 70 mph, anyone else make that switch and never look back?

That "thought the darting was just normal" line hit home for me. I ran studs for two winters in northern Minnesota and just figured the constant sawing at the wheel was part of riding fast. Switched to dual runners last season and it honestly felt like a different machine, no more fighting the bars on every straight stretch. I won't go back either, the extra control on icy corners is worth it alone.
