Am I the only one who spent 4 hours changing a spark plug?

Went to swap out the plug on my Polaris 500, figured it'd be a 20 minute job. First I couldn't find my socket wrench, then the boot was stuck on there like it was glued. After wrestling with it for an hour, I realized I was turning it the wrong direction. By the time I finally got the new one in, I'd killed a whole afternoon and my hands were covered in grease. Has anyone else had a simple maintenance job turn into a multi-hour nightmare?

You got off easy, I've had 4 hour jobs turn into 3 days.

Yeah that's the worst. Once you realize it's not a quick thing it already owns your whole week.
