Ever notice how calling someone out works better in movies? My attempt once got me stuck doing all the fridge cleanouts.

Tell me about it. Tried calling out my roommate once and now I'm the permanent toilet paper replacer.

Actually it works great if you do it right, maybe @karenw90 just has bad aim. You get to pick the chores you get stuck with.
