Update: I hit 500 questions answered on this forum and it felt like nothing
I was just looking at my profile stats yesterday and saw the number. It took me about two years to get there, just helping out when I could. Honestly, I thought I'd feel like some kind of expert or something, but it just felt normal. Has anyone else hit a big number here and it just didn't feel like a big deal?

Yeah, the "felt like nothing" part hits. I used to think hitting a certain number would feel like a real achievement, like a level up. But after you do it for a while, it just becomes what you do. You see a question you know the answer to, you type it out. The number going up is just a side effect of that.

My buddy hit 10k on his main account last month. He said he was just scrolling, answered a question about fixing a leaky faucet, and the notification popped up. He almost missed it because he was making a sandwich. Just another Tuesday for him now.

No way, I gotta disagree with @nancy275 here. If you're grinding for 10k and you almost miss it making a sandwich, that kinda means you weren't really paying attention. Hitting that big of a number should feel like something, you know? It's not just a side effect, it's the whole point of being on here. People talk about "it just becomes what you do" but that sounds like you're just going through the motions. If you don't stop and actually feel the milestone when it hits, what are you even doing it for? The whole "just another Tuesday" thing rubs me the wrong way. It's like saying your own effort doesn't matter unless you make it count.
