Serious question, I asked a chatbot for a simple recipe and it told me to add 2 cups of glitter to my pasta sauce.
This happened last month when I was trying to make dinner and thought I'd get creative with an online helper. The recipe said 'add sparkle' and I'm not joking, it literally meant craft glitter from the store. Has anyone else gotten a totally wild answer from an AI when asking for something normal?

Actually, I find these tools work well when you give clear instructions. My grandson uses one for homework help and it's fine if he asks specific questions instead of open-ended ones. The glitter thing sounds like someone was being playful with their prompt, not the tool failing at a basic task.

My friend's kid asked a chatbot for a book report and it told him the main character was a racecar driving potato. These things just make stuff up without any common sense filter. I don't trust them for anything important anymore.
