I started asking one dumb question a day and it actually helped

I made myself post a simple thing I didn't understand in this community every morning. Like why clouds look fluffy or how batteries work. After doing this for three weeks, I got clear explanations from all sorts of people. Now I feel less shy about not knowing stuff and way more interested in learning.

That part about feeling less shy about not knowing stuff really hits home. I used to hate looking dumb, but your post makes me totally get it now.

Notice how many people fake confidence instead of just asking. @troy996 nailed it, that fear of looking dumb holds everyone back. Admitting what you don't know is the real power move.
