The week we found a Roman coin hoard in a Sussex field, but then the argument started about whether to dig it all up or leave some for later.

Our team lead wanted to excavate the entire 47-coin deposit immediately for study, but I argued we should document the site fully first and maybe leave a portion in situ for future tech, so what do you think is the better call?

Leave some for later, the tech will only get better.
