Saw some weird markings on a rock face near Sedona last weekend
They were about 20 feet up a cliff wall and didn't look like natural erosion. Has anyone come across similar petroglyphs in that area?

Yeah, I almost missed a whole panel once because I was too busy staring at my own feet, trying not to trip over a rock. My coordination is not what you'd call a gift. If it was 20 feet up, maybe the person who made it was just as clumsy and wanted a safer spot to work? But seriously, that is high. I'd lean towards it being old, just because who drags a ladder way out there to spray paint?

Wait, 20 feet up? How did you even see them from the ground? I've been all over that area and most of the known stuff is way lower. That's wild. You sure it wasn't just some modern graffiti? Some people are real jerks. If it's real, you should maybe tell the ranger station, because that's a new spot.
