Used to think people made up those "found in a wall" stories until my dad pulled out a perfectly preserved 1920s newspaper from behind our plaster. Seeing that yellowed paper with his own hands (and the weird ads for cigars) totally convinced me. Now I just assume every old house has a little hidden history waiting.
