Appreciation post: The 2022 re-analysis of the Clovis site in New Mexico changed my view on the 'first Americans'

The older theory said people came 13,000 years ago, but new dating on stone tools shows a human presence at least 1,500 years earlier. Does anyone else think we're too quick to dismiss older sites just because the evidence is harder to find?

I read about a site in Chile that might be even older.
