Spent $80 on a Silky Zubat saw last month and it changed how I prune

I was using a cheap folding saw for years and fighting with frayed cuts on oak branches. The Silky Zubat cuts on the pull stroke and leaves a clean finish that heals faster. Anyone else notice a big difference with a good handsaw over a chainsaw for precision work?

Honestly, the Zubat is a total game changer. I picked one up last year after dealing with ragged cuts from a cheapo saw and it’s night and day how clean the finish is. On my apple trees, the cuts heal way faster and I’ve had way less dieback compared to when I used a chainsaw for those bigger branches. Ngl, it’s the only saw I grab now for anything under 4 inches, it just glides through the wood.

Man, I feel that on the healing part. Switched to a quality handsaw for my figs last season and the difference in how fast they bounce back is unreal, no comparison to a chainsaw. It is just so much easier on the tree and on my patience.
