Spent three hours on a Samsung fridge that just needed a door switch
Got a call for a fridge not cooling right, thought it was the evaporator fan. Pulled the back panel, checked the fan motor, it was fine. Tested the defrost heater and thermostat, all good. Finally noticed the door switch was stuck open, so the light stayed on and warmed the whole thing up. Anyone else ever miss the simple stuff because you're looking for the big problem?

Actually, that's just bad troubleshooting. You should always check the simple stuff first.
