Pro tip: I was wrong about those cheap multimeter test leads

For years I avoided the $15 sets from Harbor Freight, convinced they'd give false readings or fail fast. A guy I work with in Tampa swore by them, so I finally bought a set during a pinch on a dryer repair last month. They've held up through about 30 service calls now with no issues, and the continuity beep is actually faster than my old ones. Has anyone else found a budget tool that surprised them?

Yeah, been there. I've totally snubbed the cheap stuff only to find out it works just fine. Makes you wonder what else we're overpaying for.
