My Saturday route in Akron had 6 calls and 4 were the same $18 part, so I stopped carrying spares on the truck
I used to stock 3 of every common part because the old timers swore it saved trips, but after burning a whole morning on a dryer in Cuyahoga Falls waiting on a $22 thermal fuse I could have grabbed from the shop, I started pulling the model number first and checking stock before I even leave the driveway, and my first call fix rate went from 61 percent to 88 percent in two months, so who else ditched the rolling warehouse and just runs back for parts?

rolling warehouse" saves more time than you think, stocking less sounds risky.
