Got a call at 9pm on a Friday for a fridge that wasn't cold, turned out the guy had it set to 'vacation mode'
So this happened two weeks ago in Fort Wayne. I get a call from a guy who says his fridge is warm, food is spoiling, and he's freaking out because he just bought $300 worth of groceries. I drive over, pop the door open, and the temp is sitting at 55 degrees. Took me all of 30 seconds to spot the problem, he had accidentally bumped the control panel into vacation mode while wiping down the shelves. I switched it back to normal, heard the compressor kick on, and told him to give it an hour. He tried to hand me a $20 tip and I told him to keep it, just don't clean near the buttons next time. Anybody else run into this weird mode on the newer models?
