Nowadays, if a screen flickers, you're told to buy a new one.

Ugh, been there with an old CRT. Honestly, just kept trying different cables and adapter combos until it caught a signal. Took forever but way more satisfying than tossing it.

Man, that cable hunt is the worst part. Felt like I had a whole drawer full of wrong adapters that almost worked. Tbh the moment it finally flickers on is such a win, makes all the hassle worth it. Definitely beats just recycling it and wondering if it could've been saved.
