Wired the door contact on the frame side instead of the door side and cut callbacks big time

Been putting contacts on the door itself for 12 years because that's how I was taught. Switched to frame side on a 40 door job in Mesa and had zero false alarms in 6 months. The door side ones were getting beat up from slamming. Anyone else made this switch or am I late to it?
