Installers keep putting motion sensors right above air vents and it drives me nuts
Honestly I see this on almost every service call in Phoenix, the sensor gets mounted within 3 feet of a ceiling vent and then the customer calls me because it false alarms every time the AC kicks on. I've fixed this exact problem 4 times this month, and every time the original installer swore the spot was fine. Hot or cold air blowing on a passive infrared sensor messes with the temp reading and it thinks someone is moving. Anyone else keep running into this, or is it just the crews around here?
