Realized I was guessing at torque values instead of looking them up
Caught myself last month reaching for the impact on a landing gear bolt because I thought I remembered the spec from years back. Stopped and pulled the manual and the number was 40 foot pounds off from what I had in my head. How many of you double check every torque call or just the critical ones?

Heard a story once about a guy who skipped the manual and stripped a bolt, so now I check every one.
