Rant: I switched to a torque wrench on oil drain plugs and now I owe a guy a case of beer
Been hand-tightening drain plugs for 12 years, so when a young A&P at our shop in Fresno bet me I couldn't do better with a wrench set to spec, I took it. Snugged it to the book number on a PT6 and the next oil change showed zero seep at the crush gasket, which I never got by feel. Anybody else actually follow the manual spec on plugs, or am I the only one who lost a bet over it?
