Wasted $60 on a silicone liner that ruined my batch

I bought one of those fancy silicone air fryer liners last month because I was tired of scrubbing the basket. Followed the instructions exactly, even preheated it. First batch of chicken wings came out soggy and the liner had this weird chemical smell that stuck to the food. Tossed the whole thing in the trash and went back to parchment paper, which works perfectly. Anyone else had a bad experience with those liners or is it just me?
