Update: my air fryer got shoved in a closet for 6 months, then a power outage in Tulsa changed my mind
During that big ice storm here in Tulsa back in January, our power was out for 3 days and all we had was a camp stove and cold sandwiches. When the lights came back, I dug the air fryer out of the closet and tried frozen chicken nuggets in it just to see. They came out crispy in 8 minutes with zero oil and I have used it almost every day since. I even do broccoli in there now with a little garlic salt. What was the one thing that finally got you to actually use yours?
Figure out what made you try the broccoli, because that is the part I can't get past. Mine turns broccoli into little burnt trees on the outside and cold rocks in the middle no matter what temp I set. Do you toss it in oil first or just dry with the garlic salt? And how long are you running it, because 8 minutes for nuggets makes sense but green stuff seems like a whole different game. Tell me your exact setting or I'm going back to the oven for veggies.
