Overheard my neighbor tell his Alexa to 'order more Cheetos' and it got me thinking

Last Tuesday I was standing on my porch and heard my neighbor yell through his screen door for his smart speaker to buy Cheetos and a 12-pack of soda. It worked perfectly in like 10 seconds. I never thought about voice ordering being that casual but it made me realize how AI assistants are basically becoming the new convenience store run. Has anyone else noticed family or friends using voice AI for super random everyday stuff like that?

No way, that just sounds lazy and probably wastes more money than walking to the store.
