Just realized my AI art pipeline broke in a weird way yesterday

I run Stable Diffusion on a local machine for concept work. Yesterday I went to generate a batch of 50 images for a client sketch and the whole thing crapped out. The VAE had somehow corrupted overnight after an update. I spent like 3 hours reinstalling dependencies before I figured it out. Now I keep a backup of my whole environment on a separate drive. Has anyone else had stability issues after a routine ComfyUI update?
