Just hit 5000 images generated with my local AI model

I was sure I'd need a cloud service for anything good, but I set up Stable Diffusion on my own PC six months ago. The first 1000 were rough, but after tweaking settings for weeks, the last 500 look professional. It's wild that my own hardware can do this now. Anyone else running their own image gen model and seeing a big jump after a certain point?

Honestly thought you needed a big cloud setup to get good results. My own tests on a local machine were pretty bad at first, kept getting weird faces and messed up hands. Stuck with it though, and after maybe 800 images something just clicked with the prompts and settings. Now it feels like a totally different tool, and I'm not paying anyone a monthly fee.

Ngl that's a crazy number of images. What kind of tweaks made the biggest difference for you after the first thousand? Was it mostly about the prompts getting better, or did you have to mess with the model settings a ton too? Feels like there's a hidden learning curve nobody talks about with the local setup.
