A friend's tip about AI content detection saved my whole website
Last month my buddy who runs a local marketing firm told me to stop using obvious AI text for my cleaning business blog. He said Google's updates are getting better at spotting generic AI stuff and it would hurt my search ranking. At first I brushed it off since I was saving so much time, but then my page views dropped from 400 a day to barely 150 over 3 weeks. I rewrote everything with my own voice and added specific details like how I handle pet hair on hardwood floors. Now it's back up to around 350 views and my phone is ringing more again. Has anyone else seen a drop after relying too heavy on AI writers?

My cousin runs a lawn care site and I thought he was overthinking it with all his talk about AI detectors. But your numbers line up too close with what I've seen on my own blogs to ignore. I've been forcing myself to write like I talk now, even if it takes twice as long, and it's honestly hard to argue with the phone calls coming back in.
