My AI art generator gave a knight a third arm during a contest entry

I was submitting a piece to a local gallery's digital art call in Austin and the render came out with a glaring extra limb. I just painted over it manually in Photoshop before the deadline. Anyone else have to fix a weird AI glitch to make a piece presentable?

Fixing extra limbs is basically part of the workflow now. My stuff always generates people with melted hands or too many fingers. You end up spending more time cleaning up the mess than actually being creative. It's why calling it "generative art" feels like a stretch, it's more like prompt-guided salvage work. The final piece is usually more my editing skills than the AI's original output.

But what if the cleanup is part of the creative process? I get what you're saying @theawest, but for me it's like the AI gives you a weird block of marble to carve. The initial shape is messy, but your skill in fixing it is still real art. The final image wouldn't exist without both steps, the prompt and the polish. Calling it just salvage work feels like it downplays how much vision that editing takes.
