That time a stranger yelled at me in an abandoned asylum

I was shooting inside the old Waverly Hills Tuberculosis Hospital in Kentucky last spring, and a guy came up saying I was disrespecting the dead patients. He told me I should only take photos there if I could name three people who died in that specific hallway. Has anyone else run into random people claiming ownership over these places?

Tripped over a loose floorboard myself and got chewed out by some guy in a Civil War fort.

That fort sounds like Fort McHenry in Baltimore right? Ive been there a few times and the floors are all original boards from the 1800s which is cool but also kind of a hazard. Did the guy in period costume actually yell at you or was he just trying to warn you in character (like he was staying in role to be authentic)? Seems like they take the historical accuracy pretty seriously there, which is nice but also maybe a bit much when youre just trying to walk around without breaking an ankle.
