Noticed something sad about those old farmhouses people keep posting

Found three different ones this month where the roof had already collapsed before anyone even got good photos inside, and it made me wonder if we're all waiting too long to explore these places before they're gone for good.

You ever notice how we treat everything like it'll last forever until it doesn't? That old farmhouse going to collapse, the local diner closing down, the hiking trail getting washed out. We all think we'll get around to it next weekend, next month, next year. Then one day you drive by and there's a strip mall where the apple orchard used to be. Same thing happens with people too. Everyone's always waiting for the right time to call their grandma or patch things up with an old friend, then suddenly it's too late.

Feel you @loganhart. It's way too easy to act like everything's permanent until you're standing there staring at a parking lot where there used to be something real.
