Found a perfectly good couch in the old mill at Riverbend

Went out to the abandoned Riverbend Paper Mill last weekend, and in the middle of all the rust and broken glass, someone had set up a whole living room. There was a clean floral print couch, a coffee table, and even a rug. It was so weirdly normal it made me jump. Anyone else find something totally out of place in a spot like that?

Oh wow, that actually makes a ton of sense. I always just saw stuff like that as trash people were too lazy to take to the dump. But setting it up like a real room on purpose, that's kind of cool. It does change the whole vibe of a creepy place. I guess I never stopped to think someone might be trying to make it nice, even for a little while.

Nah, that's not weird at all lol. People use those empty spots for photo shoots or just a quiet hangout. That couch was probably staged there on purpose, not just randomly dumped. Makes the place feel less dead, honestly.
